Gabriel (David Dencik) and Elias (Mads Mikkelsen) are brothers, but couldn’t be more different. After the death of their father they discover in a video he left them that he wasn’t in fact their biological father. Their real father, who is now nearly 100, is by all accounts living on the remote island of Ork. But when the two brothers arrive on the bizarre island, there are more surprises in store. Stranded in their father’s derelict home and surrounded by an endless lineup of grotesque “house pets” and beastly new relatives, Gabriel and Elias get ever closer to the true circumstances of their birth.
