Eleven-year-old Mona (Dileyla Agirman) fled Syria with her Kurdish family and goes to a school in Wedding in Berlin. Mona doesn’t know a word of German, but she can speak football. The dedicated teacher Mr. Chepovsky (Andreas Döhler), or Mr. Che for short, recognizes her extraordinary talent and accepts her into the girls’ team. Mona is a fighter, but soon realizes that only if she and the other girls play together can they be winners.
