One sunny morning, ardent jazz fan Michel (Christian Clavier) discovers a rare LP in a fleamarket and he can’t wait to get home to listen to his latest purchase in peace. The whole world however seems to be against him: his wife makes a terrible confession to him, his unpredictable son turns up out of the blue, Michel’s concerned mother just won’t stop calling and to top it all, there’s a party in the neighborhood, today of all days.
The film version of UNE HEURE DE TRANQUILLITÉ is adapted from the play by Florian Zeller, who also wrote the film’s screenplay.
